Last Week 10
How or what could I improve?
The game is trying to get to the Beta stage, but most of the coding scripts is not responding with the levels.
Did I change my milstone goals? If so, why?
The goals in completing the levels have change. From week 7, I changed the goals from competing against a computer AI to competing against the level itself. The player have to bring the meteriods and planets to him/her-self for points and a total score to complete a level. The meteriods moving are to block the pulling and throw the object away from the target.
We didn't have time to create a AI.
What is working and what in not working in the planning and implementation of the project?
Things that is working;
Character Animations (only the idle animation)
Character Model Imports (the model in the tutorial level is acking strange?)
All Models, Textures, and Skybox. (the tuxture glass problem is solved as well as the ploy-count)
Character Motor (Capable of jumping forward longer and farer)
Grap & Pull mechanics
Scoring mechanics
Transporting mechanics
Tutorial text mechanics
Things that are not working;
Character's other Animations (move & jump animations don't read)
Grappling Hook mechanics needs working.
Codeing on both levels are not compiling with each other.
Level runs slow it too many assets or animations other than the character controller.
Most of the coding of the game is not responding.
How did I deal with the problems that came up?
The character motor problems worked out by the presets and the scale of the level.
The animations will only work on idle (couldn't get the animation script to work with the first player controller).
The goals for the game have change to meet the deadline. Other than that I think it all want well as planned. I can only do things I know I can do, and improve by using and experencing.
What stages of the project am I on and how is it progressing?
How or what could I improve?
Trying to get to the Beta stage of the game.
•Did I change my milestone goals? If so, why?
The characters animation, modeling, and texturing is done. Just trying to right a animation script to work the right way. Edward is working on the tutorial text on the tutorial level as well as the attaching to other plants.
•How did I deal with the problems that came up?
Edward got the transport script working. Now the game can move objects and have meteoroid floating around in a line.
The animations now working and Unity sees the animations scripts, but will only play the idle animation. Now fighting with Unity animation program; my models keep becoming disorder when I change key inputs aging. The game is also running slow if I put to many assets in the level. The level have to be reduced. I am also working with the animations in Unity, I may have to make a animation turn-on script as the player controller is not responding to the animations.
Edward finish with the transport script, now working with the grappling hook mechanic. He said he have problems with getting the player controller to attach to the meteoroids for landing.

Week 8
•What stages of the project am I on and how is it progressing?
How or what could I improve?
Edward is working on the level this week
Anthony is working on the animations of the character player.
•Did I change my milestone goals? If so, why?
I got week 7 confuse with week 8, but everything is working fine. The main mechanics is working, the character model is unwrapped and ready for coloring, and animations is almost done. Milestone 3 is almost done as soon as the animations are coded in Unity.
•How did I deal with the problems that came up?
Fighting with 3Dmax's animation program; my models keep becoming disorder when I change key inputs.
Edward is making the meteors move within the background in the levels, try to find a transport script, but it work out at the end.
Still working on the animations of the character model, but trobleshooting problems in the making, which most been solved.
No problem on Edward end.

Week 6
Milestone II
On week 6, I just finish unwarping the character model B.B. and begin putting color and textures on the model. I also was working on the colliders on the character model to make the character’s movement better and fix the “gravity bug” on the colliders.
Edward worked on making the game movement by scaling the assets on the main level. Edward has the “target & pull” mechanic working as well as the scoring system working.
What we to working on the movement of the level, character, and small little meteors fly around the level. I will be working on the animations and controls next week. Edward will be working on the game mechanics some more and a shader for the boundary of the level.
How or what could I improve?
Right now we are reworking the levels so that they are playable.
•Did I change my milestone goals? If so, why?
The goals have changed to add more of a challenge to the level.
•How did I deal with the problems that came up?
I dealt with problems by using websites and troubleshooting anything that i could.
•What is working and what is not working in the planning and implementation of the project?
Right now the main mechanic where you can pull planets work. The move mechanic doesn't work right now.
•Briefly describe your time spent and any problems (within the team, with a computer, etc)
•Evaluate the project as a whole.
The project is getting scaled down from the original idea. But we are having the challenge of making the game fun.

Week 4
Millstone 3 is done, the basic character model "B.B." is done. There were some set-backs, but the character and platforms are mainly done.
The only thing to do is creating the planets and dividing them into breaking when the player attach to them to pull.
Week 4
Right now we have finshed the level design and are about to put the coding into the game.
•How or what could I improve?
We both can Improve our communication
•Did I change my milestone goals? If so, why?
I wanted to have coding done this week but because the level wasn't ready I decided to finish that and then I got side tracked by adding art :p
•How did I deal with the problems that came up?
We troubleshoot what we can and ask for help with what we don't know.
•What is working and what is not working in the planning and implementation of the project?
Right now the Computer will have to be taken out the game and The winning element would be beating a top score.
•Briefly describe your time spent and any problems (within the team, with a computer, etc)
•Evaluate the project as a whole.
Project is coming along fine but it will be down to the wire to see if we get it done.

Week 3
•What stages of the project am I on and how is it progressing?
Milestone 2 is done, a phototype is almost done, I fix the jump and movement part of the phototype. I will be starting on the modeling as soon as possible.
How or what could I improve?
Just the movement controlls, and how to stick the player controller on the planets a little better.
•Did I change my milestone goals? If so, why?
No, Not really.
•How did I deal with the problems that came up?
There was a problem with the scale of the whole level, Unity only have a limited reach as well as planning a colider wall to tell the player how far he/she can go. I can import models just fine, I hope the characters models workout fine too.
•What is working and what is not working in the planning and implementation of the project?
I will be working on the movement and jump, but the gravity and the fall speed is working better than before. I need to work on the long jump speed and reach as that is a isseue.
•Briefly describe your time spent and any problems (within the team, with a computer, etc)
As before, I fix some of the problems with the movement and jump. If I can get the phototype working all I have to do is just put in the models and codeing scripts.
•Evaluate the project as a whole.
Everything is fine for now, just need to speed things up with the models.

Week 2
•What stages of the project am I on and how is it progressing?
Right now we are still polishing our concept and making the levels
How or what could I improve?
Well right now it's just a race against time as the challenge to the game. It could improve by adding more elements to challenge the player.
•Did I change my milestone goals? If so, why?
They changed alot, right now i thought i would be buried in programming but I am actually doing some level design which is pretty fun.
•How did I deal with the problems that came up?
With denial. No, i usually explain the problem to Anthony and come up with a solution to whatever problem we may have.
•What is working and what is not working in the planning and implementation of the project?
Right now i don't know what will work. One idea we have is to throw land back out but I don't know how that would work without destroying the game. So it may be scrapped or we may fine tune it. But for now we haven't come to that stage yet.
•Briefly describe your time spent and any problems (within the team, with a computer, etc)
No time as been spen on projects as of now.
•Evaluate the project as a whole.
The project has strong potential. I think I need to get into the game world to truely evalute it though.

Week 1
The name of our game is called Code Name; B.B. in which we will try to explain the vast mysteries of the universe with our uniquely styled game!
What stages of the project am I on and how is it progressing? How or what could I improve?
At the very moment that I am typing this we are in the very first stage of the project. That does not mean we are figuring out the mysteries of the universe because we already know that. But it means we are putting those mysteries into a concept document for you guys to see.
Did I change my milestone goals? If so, why?
Now as of right now my milestone goals are to get most of the coding done before next week. So I should be able to explain that in later blogs as I get more detailed into the project. (no spoilers)
How did I deal with the problems that came up?
We haven't had problems yet but I will use search engines and other online sources to get pass them when they come up.
What is working and what is not working in the planning and implementation of the project?
So far everything is working on paper. We did have to change the name bu so far the goals and concept flow throughout the game.
Briefly describe your time spent and any problems (within the team, with a computer, etc)
pass
Evaluate the project as a whole.
The project has potential to be a really great game that could be a teaching tool for children!
